Post 62

Hello. There seems to be some hectic activities heating up lately and this link below seems to sum up some of it.
Tittle economic survival map, this for the USM( United States of Monsanto) but could apply to any country now.
  • Alzheimer's disease is currently at epidemic proportions, with 5.4 million Americans—including one in eight people aged 65 and over—living with it. There is no known cure, and few truly effective treatments
  • Research suggests the best hope is in prevention focusing on diet, exercise and staying mentally active.
  • Two recent studies show that compounds in cinnamon, and vitamins B12, B6, and folate may delay the onset and/or slow progression of the disease
  • Vitamin treatment consisting of 0.8 mg folic acid, 20 mg vitamin B6 and 0.5 mg vitamin B12 slowed shrinkage of the whole brain volume over the course of two years
  • The vitamin treatment also reduced, by as much as seven-fold, the cerebral atrophy in certain brain regions that are particularly vulnerable to damage associated with Alzheimer’s disease
  • Research suggests that being exposed to general anesthesia can increase the risk of dementia in the elderly by as much as 35 percent

Hyder Flares
Although the sun is quite today as typed(13-06-13) there have been some big CME'S and magnetic storms.  The absence of sun spots have been particular at present. However these Hyder flares are magnetic lines which snake across the Sun's surface, they can throw off stuff into space or develop into a coronal hole or produce large eruptions. My feeling is they are sometimes a precursor for events to happen. Be aware for those who are sensitive as mentioned in many back posts(see under weather in search bar).

Ps: HMRC must investigate Google

MPs: HMRC must investigate Google
Google uses 'highly contrived' tax arrangements with the sole purpose of avoiding corporation tax, a parliamentary committee has found

An influential parliamentary committee has called on HM Revenue & Customs to "fully investigate" Google, after finding that the internet giant uses "highly contrived" tax arrangements with the sole purpose of avoiding corporation tax on its multibillion-pound revenues in the UK.
In a scathing report, the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee dismissed as "deeply unconvincing" Google's claims that its UK sales activities take place in low-tax Ireland and found that the company's account of its operations made "absolutely no sense".
Committee chairwoman Margaret Hodge branded the company's arguments "brazen" and said the only way for Google to repair its damaged reputation was to arrange to pay a fair share of tax in the countries where it earns its massive profits.
But the report was also highly critical of tax authorities, finding it was "extraordinary" that HMRC did not challenge Google over its arrangements. The cross-party committee also warned that the UK's big accountancy firms had damaged their reputations by helping big business clients avoid tax, calling on them to recognise that "the public mood on tax avoidance has changed".
The committee urged the Government to take a lead internationally on modernising "out-of-date" tax frameworks covering internet-based commerce, and commended Prime Minister David Cameron for putting tax avoidance at the heart of his agenda for next week's G8 summit in Northern Ireland.
Google generated around 18 billion US dollars (£11.5 billion) in revenue from the UK between 2006 and 2011, but paid just 16 million dollars (£10 million) in corporation tax, found the PAC report. During this period, the main rate of corporation tax was between 30% and 26%. In an appearance before the committee last November, the company's vice-president Matt Brittin insisted Google complied with UK law and paid all taxes required. Anyone purchasing advertising from Google in Europe - including the UK - was buying it from Google Ireland, where all of the company's sales outside the US were billed, he said.
But Mr Brittin was hauled back in front of the committee in May to face a second grilling over evidence from whistleblowers which showed "clear discrepancies" with his claim that none of Google's 1,300 UK staff were working in sales. At that hearing, Ms Hodge questioned Google's famous "don't be evil" motto, telling Mr Brittin: "I think that you do do evil, in that you use smoke and mirrors to avoid paying tax."
A Treasury spokesman said: "This Government is committed to creating the most competitive corporate tax system in the G20, but this goes hand-in-hand with our call for strong international standards to make sure that global companies, like anyone else, pay the taxes they owe. The UK, along with Germany and France, has since last year been leading the efforts through the OECD to modernise the international tax rules and we have put tax and transparency at the heart of the G8 agenda which we will chair next week."
A Google spokesman said: "As we've always said, Google complies with all the tax rules in the UK, and it is the politicians who make those rules. It's clear from this report that the Public Accounts Committee wants to see international companies paying more tax where their customers are located, but that's not how the rules operate today. We welcome the call to make the current system simpler and more transparent."
HMRC head of business tax Jim Harra said: "Since 2010 we have collected over £23 billion in extra tax through challenging large businesses' tax arrangements. Through tackling transfer pricing issues, we have collected £2 billion since 2010 alone. We relentlessly pursue businesses who don't play by the rules, these results reflect this."
Call me an old sceptic, or a conspiracy freak or whatever, I smell Bilderberg or something like this. You see if the companies and corporates have to pay their billions in tax, it will mean, perhaps we have to pay for the use of browsers, search engines, or the companies who pay for the 'free use' although they gather information for their products by using the net, may have to pay more for advertising.
This would mean we the public would have to pay, putting more burdens on our economy and financial situations.  The wealthy would have a priority use of the net through their ability to afford and absorb the cost.
This would mean the 'bugs' would have less people to monitor, would limit so called subversive incitement or to them the withholding of the truth.
“One thing is clear: The Founding Fathers never intended a nation where citizens would pay nearly half of everything they earn to the government.”  (nearly world wide)

It is interesting that whistle blowers who in the main expose lies and cover ups are telling the truth and yet the the authorities see it as treason, illegal, terrorism. Is this a classic case of antinomian ism? See Post 55. Of course all this explained away against national security, protecting the nation, and if you only knew how many threats were staunched by our stringent methods and so on. And in some cases very apt to do so.

The fate of the United Kingdom of Monsanto herbal issues lie in this statement:

Text of EDM No. 205, ‘Statutory Regulation of Practitioners of Herbal Medicine’

That this House recognises that around eight million UK citizens rely on, use regularly or have used herbal medicines in the past; affirms that loss of the so-called herbalist's exemption, now part of the 2012 Human Medicines Regulations, would deprive herbalists of their prescribing rights in the absence of legislation enacting a state register of qualified herbalists; notes that two public consultations and two parliamentary committees have found overwhelming support for statutory regulation of UK herbal medicine practitioners; recalls the promise made on 16 February 2011 by the then Secretary of State for Health, the right hon. Member for South Cambridgeshire, to set up such a register, a decision described by him at the time as one that "resolves a long-standing issue, to the benefit of both practitioners and the public who use herbal medicines"; foresees that, in the absence of easy access by the public to herbal medicine practitioners with the ability to prescribe individualised remedies, many people will resort instead to entirely unregulated sources for their herbal medicines, such as the internet; believes that patients obtaining herbal medicines from unregulated sources will put themselves at unnecessary risk; questions the wisdom of restricting UK citizens' healthcare choices at a time both of unprecedented pressure on the National Health Service and of national austerity; and therefore calls on the Government to explain the greater than two-year delay in making available for consultation by the four UK Health departments draft legislation for a framework of statutory regulation for herbal medicine practitioners, and give the House an expected time frame for the issue of the draft legislation.
I know all about this when they banned a product I have been taking for 15 years or more because of one herb out of 22, cascara sagrada bark saying it was a medicinal supplement.  They are doing the same with complimentary therapy and homoeopathy. Slowly and surely David Banker bilderbug Monsanto Cameron like all the UK and other country politicians are killing the feminine principle which is nature and of course the rise of abuse against women, girls and small boys because of their innocence and naivety, like a beautiful forest or beauty spot in nature, helpless to the tree loggers, the miners, the fracker's, the female hard liner politician's, the Merkel's plus all the profiteers licking their lips at the financial gains as the loss of nature declines.

Men who are vegetarians live longer:  they are less likely to suffer from one of the life-threatening diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure.  Strangely, female vegetarians don’t seem to get the same health benefits.
Male vegetarians are 12 per cent less likely to develop one of the chronic killer diseases compared to a meat eater, and the benefits were even clearer in two of the major killer conditions of cardiovascular and heart diseases.
But the same benefits weren’t there when researchers looked at the profiles of female vegetarians.
Researchers from the Loma Linda University in California made their discoveries when they analysed the health profiles of 73,308 Seventh Day Adventists.
Pesco-vegetarians—people who eat seafood but no other meat—also fared better than their meat-eating counterparts.

Medicine is slowly waking up to the incredible healing powers of vitamin C.  According to new research, it can kill ‘superbug’ varieties of tuberculosis (TB) bacteria that have grown immune to every available drug, giving hope to millions of people who are infected every year.
The vitamin kills multi-drug-resistant TB bacteria, which affects 650,000 worldwide every year, and is responsible for most of the annual 1.4 million deaths the disease causes.
The bacteria are resistant to every drug, including isoniazid, the first-line treatment—which means medicine doesn’t have an answer to a superbug that is spreading through the developing world.
And researchers at Yeshiva University made the discovery entirely by accident.  They were testing a theory that the TB bacteria would develop resistance to the drug if it was mixed with cysteine, an amino acid that is an active agent in vitamin C.  However, the entire culture of bacteria was wiped out by the vitamin.  Astonished by their happy discovery, the researchers think that cysteine acts as a reducing agent that may supercharge drugs such as isoniazid.

It wasn't so long ago Vitamins C and D were branded dangerous and should be taken with extreme care and limited.  There are cancer cures using these vitamins in the right amounts and with other supplements. At some time in the past the USM made it a drug offence to have Vit C in large amounts and in the UKM ( United States of America now Monsanto and the UK United Kingdom of Monsanto) the newspapers ranted about the C being the cause of maladies and Statins being the replacement.

Action Alert—Now the FDA Is Going After Vitamin C!

Vitamin C
The FDA has just notified one pharmacy that it will no longer be allowed to manufacture or distribute injectable vitamin C—despite its remarkable power to heal conditions that conventional medicine can’t touch. Please help reverse this outrageous decision!
Let’s get this straight. The government acknowledges the risk of a worldwide flu pandemic. It acknowledges that conventional drugs cannot cure big viruses-like the mononucleosis and hepatitis viruses, many influenza viruses, and many others. It acknowledges that many bacteria have become resistant to antibiotics and are killing increasing thousands. It acknowledges the risk of a worldwide drug-resistant TB pandemic.
Despite acknowledging all this, it now insists on wiping out one of the best potential treatments for these conditions and for certain cancers as well. And why is this being done? What possible rationale is offered? Because it’s dangerous? No. Because it can’t be patented and therefore won’t be taken through the standard FDA approval process. No matter that vitamin C is one of the least toxic components of our food supply and liquid forms of it have been used safely for decades.
By the way, here is what is not safe. Don’t substitute home-made vitamin C solution for pharmaceutical grade liquid. That is not safe for injection. If the FDA action leads someone to do that, the FDA should be held responsible for the results.
The government, instead of banning intravenous vitamin C, should instead be supporting research into it. Even though IV C is being used in burn units around the world, including in the US, and has been adopted by the military for this purpose, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) refuses to fund any studies using intravenous C in patients. There are privately funded studies currently underway, but of course these cannot continue if the FDA bans the substance.
With this pharmacy, the FDA also banned injectable magnesium chloride and injectable vitamin B-complex 100. These two substances are routinely added to intravenous C to make the “Myers Cocktail,” used especially for conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome, and infectious diseases such as hepatitis, AIDS, mononucleosis, and flu. The FDA is not going after the Myers Cocktail directly, but is rather attacking each individual substance used to make the cocktail, and may conceivably be going after injectable vitamins and minerals in general, despite such injections being given under the care of a qualified physician.
Please contact the FDA right away, and tell them to stop this foolish war on intravenous vitamin C!
Each of us reading this should think, “Intravenous C could someday save my life.” Dr. Jonathan Collin, editor of the Townsend Letter, discusses the case of a man in New Zealand who nearly died from swine flu. After developing a severe fever and upper respiratory infection, his condition deteriorated and he became comatose. Eventually even a ventilator was insufficient to keep him breathing because his lungs were so compromised by pulmonary edema. After weeks of heroic intervention, doctors decided there was no chance of survival and nothing further should be done for him.
The family asked the hospital to administer intravenous vitamin C. After much disagreement, the hospital gave him 25 grams of vitamin C every 6 hours. There was so much improvement over the next two days that the hospital decided to reinstate his intensive care—but they discontinued the vitamin C, saying that he had improved only because they had rolled him onto his side or his stomach instead of keeping him on his back! Not surprisingly, his condition once again deteriorated.
The family moved him to another facility that reluctantly allowed the IV vitamin C (albeit at a lower dose), and his lung function gradually improved. He came out of coma after four weeks, and after taking vitamin C orally, he gradually improved enough to be discharged. One year later, he was back to flying his plane and surveying his farm in New Zealand. None of the doctors who fought so hard to prevent his treatment with vitamin C have ever acknowledged their error.
Even people in perfectly good health may not be getting enough vitamin C. We recently noted the research that up to 87% of Americans are vitamin D deficient. But studies also show that many people may be deficient in vitamin C as well. A recent study on 1,000 Canadian adults found 33% had suboptimal levels of vitamin C—one in seven was “very deficient”—which could place them at increased risk for chronic health problems. Those who were vitamin C deficient were also more likely to have larger waists, greater body mass, and higher blood pressure.
The study’s author, Dr. Ahmed El-Sohemy, suggested eating fruits and vegetables high in vitamin C, such as citrus fruits and peppers, or taking supplements. The recommended dietary allowance (RDA) in nonsmoking adults is 90 mg per day for men and 75 mg for women, though some experts say a minimum daily dose of 120 to 200 mg is more appropriate, and some routinely take much higher doses themselves. Research also shows that people suffering from various diseases may benefit from larger amounts. In the case of the common cold, a review of published trials found that amounts of 2 grams per day appear to be more effective than 1 gram.
But there is a big difference between oral vitamin C and intravenous C. One maintains your health. The other seems to directly attack pathogens and cancer cells. Vitamin C taken orally will not do this, because the concentration does not seem sufficient to accomplish the task.
Useful to read on vitamins.
Trusting you are getting good quality food and vitamins supplements and keeping you well. Be Well. Geoff
Addendum

Typical Catalan culture, the correfoc are simple parades using fireworks and effigies of the devil.
When I lived in Spain and on subsequent visits I attended many of these. Some were great and some gruesome. Many different types, like the burning of the false Christ, Festival of Water, celebration of freedom, doing away with evil, thanks giving and burning the destroyers of crops and so on.  I made good friends with many at these festivals and often my favourite Flamenco afterwards. I love the raw passion and wonderful energy.
Non-Exercise Activity: One of the newest recommendations I have is based on information from NASA scientist Dr. Joan Vernikos, who I recently interviewed: simply set a timer when you are sitting and stand up every 10 minutes. I even modify this further by doing jump squats at times in addition to standing up. This will help counteract the dangerous consequences of excessive sitting.
You can prevent, and to a great degree, delay the damage associated with a large portion of biological aging, especially the most crippling, which is pain with movement and loss of flexibility that you had as a youth. To do so, FIRST you need to make sure you’re engaging in more or less perpetual non-exercise movement, as this is an independent risk factor. You then want to add structured exercise on top of that to reap all the benefits associated with exercise.
Going to the gym a few times a week for an hour simply isn’t going to counteract hours upon hours of chronic uninterrupted sitting, which essentially mimics a microgravity situation, i.e. you’re not exerting your body against gravity. Only frequent non-exercise movement will do that. The key point is to move and shift position often, when you’re sitting down. Meaning, you want to interrupt your sitting as often as possible.
