Dangerous satellite air pollution exists in a legal loophole

There is a plethora of treaties that talk about, conjecture about the junk in Space, space debris and the re entry aluminium powder and so on, but the question is who owns space, the Moon, Mars and so on. Because you put a flag on a planet does this mean you are the legal owner. This is another subtle way of saying that space is owned by such and such a country or indeed company, this leads into a quandary; how do you quantify or state the boundaries in space, perhaps a ring of satellites, the ISS and similar structures built in the sky and space?

These cities in the skies are not too far off, consider several countries are already building and China has space sky stations like the ISS, private companies taking civilians into space and sci-fi mining companies in films, -----do not laugh ---this is very near, China setting up a Moon Base and the USA seriously going for Mars to out do China.

Perhaps if you link the above facets together you might catch a glimpse of what the next five years bring, see the future basic steps towards the Moon, Mars and then ? First there will be competitions and more space junk, then cities, then Moon Colonies and the Phantom Wave technologies, replicating food as in at first 3D food, then the DNA into real food through replicators and from Moon bases to real terraforming and with the assistance of the Boston Robotics and ATLAS.
