POST 92

Howdy. Trusting you are well and enjoying the beauty of this Life. One of the beauties is to behold the video below.
Aurora Borealis
An elevator in space?  Wow
By the way the greeting Howdy above is explained{Howdy is an informal greeting, commonly thought to have originated as a shortened form of the greeting "How do you do?" It was first recorded as part of the Southern U.S. dialect in 1840.[1] Literature from that period includes the use of "How-do, how-do" as a greeting used by Native Americans when addressing Anglo settlers in greeting. The double form of the idiom is still found in parts of Texas as "Howdy, howdy". Without regard to etymological beginnings, the word is used as a greeting such as "Hello" and not, normally, as an enquiry.
It is typically associated with Southern American English, especially from ArizonaNew MexicoTexas and the northern parts of Louisiana and Florida where the Southern dialect is predominant. It is the official greeting of Texas A&M University.[2] It is also the name of the popular web portal at Texas A&M University.[3]}
Quote from Uncle Albert. Albert Einstein said: "Only two things are infinite the universe and
stupidity and I am not sure about the former.

The Canadian Meteor Orbit Radar (CMOR)

The Western meteor physics group operates a triple-frequency, meteor orbital radar 100 km from London (near Tavistock, Ontario) where  we record ~2500 meteoroid orbits per day. CMOR is a multi-frequency HF/ VHF radar used to detect the ionized trails associated with ablating meteoroids. It has been in single-station operation (echoes) since 1999 and multi-station (orbits) since January of 2002. The radar produces data on the range, angle of arrival, and velocity/orbit in some instances. To the end of 2009 we have measured 4 million individual orbits

  • Performing a simple ritual before eating makes the food more enjoyable – and it works whether the food is chocolate or carrots
  • Rituals may enhance enjoyment because they force you to become more involved in the experience at hand
  • Being mindful when you eat forces you to slow down and makes you feel more connected and involved in your eating experience
  • Rituals can be useful in other areas of your life too, such as before bedtime or helping you to de-stress after work
HOW FAR DO YOU GO WITH SACRIFICE?

This ritual  or thingamajig (slang for like whatsoname, thingy) is in my view a bit like the dual aspects of the spiritual and the worldly. Yes we all do or need ritual to some extent, however when it becomes so programmed, habitual and fixated, then many problems can arise.  Clans that fight one another, war, religion, a closed mind caught in the net of the ritual, when it becomes an addiction.
How can one tell when it is addictive? It is when one lives one's life through this addiction, this obsessiveness, and one feels let down and deprived if denied or hasn't the time to  do one's ritual.
Many a life style is built or planned around ritual.  Business can be ritualistic, often people who have been in business, a soldier, someone who has been in jail for many a year, when coming out of these 'known ' familiars, say like retiring after forty years of work, can feel lost and walk about listless. That is why it is suggested one has a hobby or outside interest. I would suggest meditation.

I have this plaque in my room it comes from a an old disused house in Thailand and is bright gold but does not have the script in bottom left corner. It has gold paint adorning the carving.
I suggest meditation, however this does not preclude any other hobby or ritual, and can be integrated with them.
In my view true meditation is when the mind is empty of thought, not by blocking, or pushing thoughts away, the breathing is slow and gentle, usually abdominal, like a small child breathing in sleep, the rise and fall of the hara.
Then comes an absence of thought, not sleep, drowsiness or trance, and there is this smile and tranquillity, peace and serenity.  By the way my plaque face is longer and not so rounded as above and has a great soft serene smile.  When I was with Sifu he would often say 'smile from the heart' some of us would go to the heart centre and he would say 'this smile is from the Universe, nature, it is a consciousness  thingamajig'.  Us students taught Sifu cockney, Yiddish and back rhyming slang. He knew the swear words, and laughed like crazy when he heard them out in the street.
The blurred bit at bottom left should be meditate.
When I was with Sensei he would often reiterate about the empty head and there were lots of Zen beatniks going around and had this 'hey man make sure you've no head' and indeed there was a book going around titled ' On Having No Head'
This was one of the many books around.
I used to go to a bookshop in Central London years back called Watkins in Cecil Court, its still there. I knew old man Watkins as they called him, a real mystic and knowledgeable man.  I used to get my incense from him and I went in one day to purchase some and he said 'you'll find them on that shelf above the paperbacks ' I put my hand there without looking and pulled out an old faded book and its title  'On having no Head' the author was a friend of mine, and a fellow Judo ka and lay Zen Monk, Roy Morris.  When you opened the book there were only blank pages.
So on retirement or leaving a relationship or entering one, because the mind is used to emptiness, and the joy and peace arising from it, the let down is not so forceful or full of withdrawal symptoms. Of course unless a master or superb at repression, there is residue. In extreme conditions, meditation can help or aid assuage the pain.
Having had many, many conversations with friends, monks, Skype calls for those who meditate in a similar way to myself, there are some shared experiences.  A feeling of going out from the top of one's head, the head seems to expand into infinity, there is a feeling of leaving the body and going beyond sleep, trance, hypnosis, psychic phenomena, beings, sensations and all thought forms, subtle or gross.  One is left suspended as the knower in a vast ocean of nothingness, and a paradox, nothingness is immeasurable so vastness does not apply in the usual context of the word.  Because there is only space and no - thing, then it is a direct opposite of the confinement of thought and the merry- go -round of the programmed trapped mind.  One often hears the expression ' I felt as if I were going out of my mind' 'I felt crazy with worry, it drives me out of mind'.

"Going Out Of My Mind"

Hey you, its me again.
I tried to call yesterday.
And the words I had,
To say to you,
Somehow they all slipped away.
Please talk to me,
Whatever is wrong.
You know I'd help you out.
How will I know,
If you wont say,
What this silence is about?
Cos I'm going out of my mind,
And I don't think it's fair.
Just when things seemed to be fine,
You changed then didn't care.
Cos the least you could do,
Is to talk this through
And I'm going out of my mind,
Over you.
Hey you, you haven't called.
I guess you're still busy.
Guess I think more of you,
Than you do of me.
And that's not how I want it to be.
Cos I'm going out of my mind,
And I don't think it's fair.
Just when things seemed to be fine,
You changed then didn't care.
Cos the least you could do
Is to talk this through
And I'm going out of my mind,
Over you, yeah.
Hey you, its me again.
Ooh, it's me again.
Cos I'm going out of my mind,
And I don't think its fair.
Just when things seemed to be fine,
You changed then didn't care.
Cos the least you could do
Is to talk this through
And I'm going out of my mind,
Over you.
A very popular song years back and many suffer over this kind of mind obsessing addiction. Many of my girlfriends and mates thought I was too controlled, a person locked in an ivory tower, yet I did feel remorse, hurt, broken up and heartbroken, however, it left comparatively quickly and I, whatever I is, moved on.  I may have seemed controlled, stiff of purpose, yet my mind would be cluttered with pain and my body tense with the separation, yet sitting there quietly breathing and watching and letting the pain 'boil' way and eventually the stinging ' acidic ' taste and waters would boil themselves into steam and then evaporate into 'nothingness'. Different to pushing it down and being mentally constipated and frightened to look at the trauma.

I still have three very deep seated traumas and have to 'sit' with them.  They are fading in intensity and have deeper levels which expose related incidents that are similar or signals.  Often the original trauma is but a rehash of an earlier minor one.  I feel it first, sit with it or just let 'roll' around as I go about my daily stuff.
Then in my 'Zen' days when I used to the winter session all night in the cold at the Zendo, in Victoria and run in zori(Japanese footwear similar to flip flops with tabi Japanese split toe socks, separating big toe from others to fit zori) often running through sleet and snow with Judo gi under track suit to Soho where there was a coffee shop or tea shop  called  'house of Sandwiches'. Us Judo ka hard guys would mix with the beatniks and flower people, they were kind of soft, yet lovely, idealistic, we didn't understand each other, but somehow there was an easy peace. Many were on LSD and followed Timothy Leary the so called psychedelic guru and Allen Ginsberg (Irwin Allen Ginsberg (/ˈɡɪnzbərɡ/; June 3, 1926 – April 5, 1997) was an American poet and one of the leading figures of the Beat Generation in the 1950s. He vigorously opposed militarismeconomic materialism and sexual repression. Ginsberg is best known for his epic poem "Howl", in which he denounced what he saw as the destructive forces of capitalism and conformity in the United States).[1][2]

Allen Ginsberg 'HOWL' his famous poem -  http://www.wussu.com/poems/agh
Some of the hippie, beatnik and flower people I came across where empty minded in a way, they were mainly out of it with drugs, fantasies, 'shagging until their balls dropped off' or 'standing up after a long time on their backs' as one of the ladies told me as she felt my muscles.  So a few sayings came out that were not dissimilar to empty mind.  Such phrases as 'No one at Home' 'He / she is ex directory' 'He /she has pulled the telephone line out' and so on.

So Folks keep plugged into emptiness, a good koan for you 'how can you plug into nothing?'
Keep on Keeping On. Geoff

The Thundercloud above is symbolic of the world situation, but not so beautiful, and a key player in the scenario is one, Tony Blair, just look at this interview in the Keiser report with second part of George Galloway and the film he is making. 'The Killing of Tony Blair'.  You have no idea what a cunning, awful gentleman, er, did I say gentleman is like.  My whistle blowers inform me he is being groomed for the Bilderberg Crown. This crown is held by Henry Kissinger and his cronies are his court officials. The thundercloud of decency is descending on them, and woe betide them when it does.
Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert discuss the US regulator’s case against JP Morgan for violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, known in polite circles as ‘client hires’. In the second half, Max talks to George Galloway MP about the film The Killing of Tony Blair, which he is crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The film explores the financial killing the former prime minister has made on the mass killings in the various wars he started across the Middle East.
SUMMER LIGHTS: "Last night, the sky exploded into an inferno of vivid colours!" reports Oskar Pettersson of Luleå, Sweden. "It was the Northern Lights!" Pettersson saw the display after he walked out of a movie theatre, then rushed home to grab his camera for this shot:
"Aurora season has started with a bang, and now I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of it!" he says.
The display began when the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) around Earth tilted south. This opened a crack in Earth's magnetosphere. Solar wind flowed in and ignited the auroras. This disturbance is subsiding now but it is not over. NOAA forecasters estimate a 20% chance of polar geomagnetic storms on August 28th.Aurora alerts: textvoice.  Thanks Oskar Pettersson.

Ingrid, an Avaaz member, helped save a Norwegian woman from being jailed for being raped in Dubai -- she started a petition on Avaaz and the social media storm it created kept pressure up on governments to act. Now the woman is free! And it all started with one simple step: click below to start a campaign on an issue you care about, it's incredibly quick and easy!

Ingrid, an Avaaz member, has used our site to help save a Norwegian woman from being sent to jail for being raped!
Marte Dalelv was sexually assaulted while visiting Dubai, but when she reported it to the police, she was sentenced to 16 months in prison for "extra-marital sex"! When Ingrid read about Marte's case, she started a petition on Avaaz calling on the Dubai and Norwegian governments to ensure Marte's release. The petition and the Facebook page she created exploded on social media and people from all over the world signed the petition and flooded the two governments with messages at addresses that Ingrid posted on her Avaaz petition page.
Within days, Marte was released, and the Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide posted a Twitter message saying: "Marte is released! Thanks to everyone who signed up to help."
Ingrid's campaign was covered by major media outlets and clearly ramped up the diplomatic pressure to free Marte and bring her home to her family. And it all started with a simple step of starting a petition on the Avaaz community website. Think of an issue you care about and click here to get started -- it's incredibly quick and easy to start a campaign:
https://secure.avaaz.org/en/petition/start_a_petition_d/?cl=3219882260&v=28601
The Prime Minister of Norway said,"There is no doubt that attention from around the world, and the tenacity of the foreign ministry ... led to this decision." In just a few minutes, Ingrid started an amazing campaign that helped win over decision makers in Dubai and Norway.
Starting a campaign only takes a few minutes, but the impact of success can last for years. Plus, if the petition gets enough support on its own, the staff at Avaaz could pick up the campaign, add strategic advice, media help, and even send it to a wider list of members. We’ve got tonnes of tips and advice to help you along the way -- all it takes is to get started, share your passion and you can be on your way to winning on any issue - local, national or global.
Ingrid wasn't convinced that starting an online petition would save Marte - but when she and her organisation Partnership for Change saw the impact of their victory, they realised how powerful this easy model can be to get change. Send this email to the people you know who have great ideas about how to make the world a better place or click on the link to be a part of it:
This whole idea that women are seductresses and lead men onto to sin and sexual depravity is so hackneyed and pathetic. This is part of the assault on the feminine /yin.  This includes the rape of Mother Earth, fracking and extreme drilling is akin to rape, penetration.
It seems some priests of all religions get into paedophilia and sexual deviances, along with doctors, lawyers, politicians and some immigrants and asylum seekers, and of course any members of the public if so orientated,in a way immigrants and asylum seekers may come from a culture where woman are subservient and covered up, and round where I live, many young women in summer are near naked in the street, for me I delight in the feminine form and do not feel that 'roused up' to assault them, I feel a smile and the beauty of the human form', maybe its my age! I have seen the lust on the face of many a man from abroad and heard their talk, some feel they are whores and in court where they were charged, they said so.  Many people do this who are in positions of trust and power, asserting their right to might, however, the religious angle is that God is Male and He alone is powerful and the huge sexual feelings suppressed during hormone puberty change, boys and girls segregated at schools or boys or girls only high class finishing schools so to speak turns these natural energies inwards, this becomes subterranean and gets mixed up with messages from religion which cannot deal with these emotions. Some religions then put the blame of these uncomfortable feelings on the devil and so it becomes a sin.
The roles can be reversed men can be punished and some go to a dominatrix.
I had many a patient who sort the services of dominatrix and went to sadomasochistic parlours.  In energyrid I wrote about the Bishop and a serial killer, the Bishop was a patient, the killer I researched with the aid of a police profiler. I feel it not applicable to repeat these accounts again.
Of course there are many reasons and the explanations given above are just a mere snip of the deviations, which I might add the so called pervert or some sects see as normal.
Trauma, religion, parental abuse, abuse from all sections of society.
Perhaps one the deviations is this current Syria Chemical Weapons Issue. What I have heard on BBC, ITV, and media 'accepted and largely so called legitimate News Channels which the general populace takes as gospel or says 'you should never believe what you read in the papers or see on telly' yet they do.  Why? Because like the bibles of religion, education tram lines, doctors and scientists as substitutes for God, part of us although reluctant, still go along with it like sheep that want to wander and the sheep dog herding them back to the pen.
WHAT AMAZES ME, all I hear is 'We are preparing for military action, we will not tolerate gas or chemical weapons(I agree most succinctly with that--Geoff / me) then they go on to say we must demonstrate to Assad and the Syrian Government by a clinical strike(where have I heard that before)that this use of these weapons are Internationally not accepted(agree again)'

FOLKS NO ONE HAS PROVED AS YET (29/08/13 AT 09.53 GMT) who used these monstrous weapons. Guilty before proven. And USA, France, UK would be the first to yell, howl, shout, get all indignant, if Russia or China said this.  YET Russia and China are saying lets give the UN inspectors( I hope they are not bribed or corrupted)  the chance to establish who did this.  Remember the young lady in the video who showed the rubber gas masks made in the USA and distributed some weeks ago, and Obama's remark about gas and chemical weapons would be the red line, and that would mean intervention.  I smell a rat here.
Chemical weapons. It would bode well to listen to this young women.
Truth. I do not go along with fact that this man says it will be a full Islamic state. I feel the West will use the fanatics and when they win or if they win, they will say it wasn't us who gave the rebels weapons, humanitarian aid disguised as weapons, and then they will fight the rebels if they defeat Assad.  You rebels watch out you are being used as pawns in the game.  A bloody, dirty, filthy revenge filled theatre of war and atrocities. It says in the Bible 'Revenge is mine sayeth the Lord'.  Perhaps the Lord in these instances are Karma.  Things have a way of coming back to haunt one and take their toll in other ways. Remember the ancient Prophets and the warnings. Well time is running out.
THIRD WORLD WAR?  A brilliant video. StormCloudsGathering
Wow.
I'd rather see the Word. World Elite. Zionism in this respect is as David Icke explains and is not an attack on Judaism or the Hebrew Race. It is a fundamentalist term which could include any over the top politico / religious / atheistic obsessive psychopathic behaviour.
  • 1a movement for (originally) the re-establishment and (now) the development and protection of a Jewish nation in what is now Israel. It was established as a political organization in 1897 under Theodor Herzl, and was later led by Chaim Weizmann.
  • 2(in southern Africa) a religious movement represented by a group of independent Churches which practise a form of Christianity incorporating elements of traditional African beliefs.
  •  the beliefs and practices of the African Zionist movement.
In this context the Bilderbugs could be seen as Zionists.

POST 91

Hi Folks a blast from the past.  Welcome to now though.
August 3, 2013:  NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has detected a new kind of stellar blast called a kilonova, which happens when a pair of compact objects such as neutron stars crash together.  Hubble observed the fading fireball from a kilonova last month, following a short gamma ray burst (GRB) in a galaxy almost 4 billion light-years from Earth.
"This observation finally solves the mystery of short gamma ray bursts," says Nial Tanvir of the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom, who led a team of researchers conducting this research.
This sequence illustrates the kilonova model for the formation of a short-duration gamma-ray burst. 1. A pair of neutron stars in a binary system spiral together. 2. In the final milliseconds, as the two objects merge, they kick out highly radioactive material. This material heats up and expands, emitting a burst of light called a kilonova. 3. The fading fireball blocks visible light but radiates in infrared light. 4. A remnant disk of debris surrounds the merged object, which may have collapsed to form a black hole.  (More info from .nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2013/03aug_kilonova/ )

Explanation: What it would look like to leave planet Earth? Such an event was recorded visually in great detail by the MESSENGER spacecraft as it swung back past the Earth, eight years ago, on its way in toward the planet Mercury. Earth can be seen rotating in this time-lapse video, as it recedes into the distance. The sunlit half of Earth is so bright that background stars are not visible. The robotic MESSENGER spacecraft is now in orbit around Mercury and has recently concluded the first complete map of the surface. On occasion, MESSENGER has continued to peer back at its home world. MESSENGER is one of the few things created on the Earth that has left and will never return -- at the end of its mission MESSENGER will be crashed into Mercury's surface. (http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/  Thanks)
Often I have heard astrologers comment on Mercury and say when it is retrograde communications go awry and all sorts of electronic anomalies arise. I hope Mercury will not do a number on us when the craft crashes into its atmosphere at the end of its mission!!!.
This young lady is brilliant.  First few minutes are sound fuzzy.

Now here's a thing. Get your head round this baffling trick.  Wonderful.

A few blogs back I gave a page of a scientific report on Crop circles. This one has the hallmarks of it.

Health Tip of the Week - Help for Degenerative Nerve Diseases

If you suffer from a degenerative nerve disease such as Parkinson's, MS, or Huntington's Disease, juicing veggies could be an answer. Failure of cell mitochondrial function is a big contributor to this condition. Every cell in the body has a little 'biological spark-plug' called mitochondria. These mitochondria are responsible for enabling the cell to process oxygen properly and to supply energy fuel in the form of ATP for all biological-chemical processes. Restoration of this function by supplying specifc enzymes to restore mitochondrial function has proved effective in reducing the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.  Raw foods such as salads and veggie plus raw juices can be very helpful because they are rich in biophotons--the light rays of energy plants absorb from the sun. BIophotons feed the mitochondria. I would recommend that you drink 3-4 glasses of veggie juice per day

Beautiful sentiments, I hope and pray our skies are not full of chemtrails, our babies are not full of mutations from GM and the pollution and fracking ruining our trees and turning the world into a desert.
There is a You Tube one of this it seems to come to a differing one.
The power, reach and influence of the Central Intelligence Agency is a staple of conspiracy theories.
The news that the CIA is reportedly part-funding a scientific geoengineering study into how to control the weather is unlikely to dampen speculation over their activities.
According to US website 'Mother Jones' the CIA is helping fund a study by the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) that will investigate whether humans could use geoengineering - which is defined as deliberate and large-scale intervention in the Earth's climatic system - to stop climate change.
The NAS website describes the study as an investigation into "a limited number of proposed geoengineering techniques, including examples of both solar radiation management (SRM) and carbon dioxide removal (CDR) techniques."
The purpose of this is to comment "generally on the potential impacts of deploying these technologies, including possible environmental, economic, and national security concerns", the website claims.
Solar radiation management (SRM) is a theoretical branch of geoengineering which moots the idea of reflecting sunlight in an attempt to block infrared radiation and halt rising temperatures.
The cost of the project is reported to be $630,000, which NAS is splitting with the CIA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and NASA reports say.
A reference on the NAS website to "the US intelligence community" funding the project refers to the CIA, an NAS spokesman claimed.
Much speculation has surrounded claims that the US government has long been involved in types of weather manipulation, including a much-discussed attempt to cloud-seed - the process of dispersing substances into the air to create cloud condensation or ice nuclei and subsequently rain or snow - during the Vietnam war.
It was also widely reported that the Chinese government seeded clouds ahead of the 2008 Olympics opening ceremony to create a downpour elsewhere and keep the stadium dry by firing iodide crystals into rain clouds over Beijing.
Weather manipulation was most recently in the news after claims by some American commentators that devastating tornadoes in Oklahoma, along with other extreme weather events like Hurricane Sandy, were created by the US government using the Haarp antenna farm in Alaska.
A CIA spokesman refused to comment on the NAS study but told Mother Jones: "It's natural that on a subject like climate change the Agency would work with scientists to better understand the phenomenon and its implications on national security."
BOY OF FIVE BEGS SOLDIERS NOT TO TAKE HIS  PALESTINIAN FATHER  AWAY.
THE ISRAELI SOLDIERS DO THIS A LOT AND ALMOST DAILY.  I CRIED FOR TEN MINUTES AND SOBBED AND WAS ON MY KNEES AND I COULD HEAR THAT CHILD SCREAM ALL DAY. OH DEAR GOD WHAT HAVE WE COME TOO.
It was the hottest week of the year. All Fadel Jaber wanted was some water for his family. But Fadel lives in the occupied West Bank, where the Israeli government has redirected water pipes to provide swimming pools for Jewish settlers and empty faucets for Palestinians like Fadel.
When the Israeli forces dragged Fadel off for taking water, his heartbroken five-year-old son Khaled could be heard screaming “baba, baba!” as his dad was torn away. This is daily life for Palestinians living under the brutal fist of martial law where their land and water has been stolen by settlers and they have no basic human rights. But after years of violence and hopelessness, a movement is growing in Palestine -- a nonviolent resistance seeking the same thing that all Israelis already have: freedom, dignity and a state of their own.
For years, the media has focused on Palestinian militants, and to this day, extremists on both sides are pushing peace further out of reach. But what’s lost in all that vitriol are the loving families like Fadel’s that just want a normal life. Now, those families are stepping forward, leading peaceful marches, organizing sit-ins, and working with Israeli activists to seek justice and freedom. In response, the Israeli military has thrown them in jail, beaten up organisers, and ripped children from their beds. {Can you begin to imagine the impact on this beautiful child and all the other beautiful kids. This can fuel revenge, suicide bombers or damage them irreparably. I get so frustrated by this insensitivity and lack of human dignity by soldiers and brutal political authorities}.
Spying through every device.  Notice RT in a lot of the videos, these videos are recordings of news throughout the day on RT. Where do you hear this on ITV, FOX, BBC for example, Al Jazeera is good too.

Where does it begin or end?  Technology gone mad.  Can one legislate about this?  How can one impose stringent laws to safeguard privacy? You can now see why the Authorities want to close the net down in parts. However, some bright sparks will find a way around this.  There maybe no answer to this and IT COULD FORCE UTTER TRANSPARENCY, HONESTY, or stringent dictatorship censorship and harsh punitive methods.
Who surveys who, whose hacking who, the hacker hacked. OY VEH.

·         An organism’s genome is not static but fluid, and its biological functions are interconnected with its environment and vice versa, such that trying to control genetic changes via artificial modification is a dangerous game.
·         Compared with natural genetic modification, artificial genetic modification is inherently hazardous because it lacks the precision of the natural process, while enabling genes to be transferred between species that would never have been exchanged otherwise

·         Artificial genetic modification uses horizontal gene transfer, which involves injecting a gene from one species into a completely different species; this yields unexpected and often unpredictable results, including the transfer of GM genes to humans

Connor and Noah Barth are believed to have been strangled in their sleep by an African rock python
Python sebae, commonly known as the African rock python, is a large, nonvenomous snake of Sub-Saharan Africa. The African rock python is one of seven species in the genus Python. It has two subspecies: one found in Central and Western Africa, the other inSouthern Africa.
Africa's largest snake, specimens may approach or exceed 6 m (20 ft). The southern subspecies is generally smaller than its northern relative. The snake is found in a variety of habitats, from forests to near deserts, although usually near sources of water. The African rock python kills its prey by constriction and often eats animals up to the size of antelope, occasionally even crocodiles. The snake reproduces by egg-laying. Unlike most snakes, the female will protect her nest and sometimes even her hatchlings.

The snake is widely feared even though it only very rarely kills humans. Although the snake is not endangered, it does face threats from habitat reduction and hunting.
There are many human stranglers.  Strangled by austerity measures, abuse, weather and environmental pollution, our skies darkened and strangled, our food contaminated.  The snake in the grass does its natural thing, the human serpents are a breed of their own.
Let us hope that the human snakes will shed their evil skins and be reborn into the natural caring that awakened human beings have in common.
Take great care of your lovely selves. Geoff

CIA ADMIT IRANIAN OVERTHROW. 5 mins.
60 years to the day after Iranian Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadeq was ousted in a coup d'etat, the CIA has finally admitted that it organised the action alongside the British Secret Intelligence Service. The US and UK conspired to have the democratically elected Mossadeq replaced with General Fazlollah Zahedi in order to strengthen the position of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. The Shah went on to repress political opposition and used his US-trained secret police service, SAVAK, to brutally crackdown on suspected dissidents.

  • Migraine is one of the most common health conditions in the world—more prevalent than diabetes, epilepsy and asthma combined. An estimated 13 percent of the world’s population suffer with migraines
  • An observational study recently found that people who get migraines have a different blood vessel structure in their brains compared to those who do not get migraines, causing greater asymmetry in hemispheric cerebral blood flow
  • Environmental factors appear to play a significant role in triggering a migraine attack. This includes certain foods and drinks, hormonal changes, stress, external stimuli like scents or lights, dehydration and changes in sleep cycle
  • Both aspartame and MSG are notorious for causing headaches and triggering migraines. Aspartame can also trigger other neurological symptom such as visual disturbances and tingling in the extremities
  • Preventing migraines begins by avoiding the triggers. Most often this means eating healthy whole foods (avoiding most processed ones) and managing your stress effectively. Following my eating plan seems to reduce migraines by about 80 percent {GO TO MERCOLA.COM  for more information}
  • “Fast Food, Fat Profits” explores the complex reasons why so many Americans are overweight and sick – and it largely boils down to an overreliance on cheap, highly processed food
  • Many on the most limited food budgets, such as those who receive food assistance dollars, live in "food deserts" – areas without grocery stores, and perhaps only a convenience store or a fast-food restaurant where they can purchase their food
  • The food system is very much stacked against healthy eating … and healthy people, instead promoting obesity, heart disease and diabetes through a diet reliant on high fructose corn syrup, sugar, soy, corn and grains
  • There’s a revolving door between the food industry and the government, with some government officials working for the very food companies they are supposed to be regulating
  • Avoiding processed food requires a change in mindset, which is not always an easy task, but it can be done
  • In the documentary Fast Food Baby, three families struggle with feeding their kids an unhealthy diet and start the journey toward healthier eating
  • Many diseases that once only plagued middle-aged or older adults, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and even liver disease, are now plaguing kids, largely due to poor diet
  • The best time to shape your kids' eating habits is while they're still young, as kids learn very quickly to prefer certain tastes and textures, and these can last a lifetime.
  • Offering healthy foods to your children regularly is one of the most important parenting decisions you can make; and remember that it can take up to 15 ‘exposures’ before your child accepts a new healthy food

Molotov cocktails, civil disobedience and middle-class furor: Fracking protests hit Europe

LONDON -- Threats to use Molotov cocktails in Poland, a civil disobedience workshop in affluent rural England, and an Irish farmer with a sick child moved to become an eco-campaigner: these are just some of the ways in which Europeans have responded to the expansion of a much-debated oil industry practice.
Fracking has long been the source of heated debate in Pennsylvania and the controversy is now exploding in Europe, fueled by horror stories from across the Atlantic.
It is a debate that has created some unlikely alliances: The usual suspects of environmental campaigning have been joined by farmers and inhabitants of the so-called "stockbroker belt" concerned about house prices and “the industrialization of the countryside.”
There are even suggestions that Russian money has been financing anti-fracking groups in Bulgaria – to help keep prices for its gas exports high.
The U.K. has become the latest front line for fracking after the British government lifted a ban imposed when the procedure was linked to a series of earthquakes in northwest England.
For some, fracking – a process that involves forcing water and chemicals into the ground to shatter rocks like shale and release natural gas trapped inside – poses a risk to water supplies, causes air pollution and flies in the face of the fight against climate change, worse even than coal.
But supporters of the process say it is safe, has been carried out for decades largely without problems, and could actually help reduce carbon emissions.
Chris Peters, of the No Dash for Gas campaign group, took part in a five-day protest last week against exploratory drilling that might eventually lead to fracking at a site near the village of Balcombe, Sussex, in rural England.
He said the camp held workshops in “methods of civil disobedience, direct action and various campaign strategies” and attracted about 1,000 people, including some from Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Poland.
Peters said his main problem with fracking was that it was an attempt to get “the last dregs of the barrel” of fossil fuels “when really we need to be looking at clean, renewable sources for energy.”
“The primary sources of oil and coal and gas are running out, so companies are looking to these more extreme, more risky methods,” he said, citing oil exploration in the Arcticexploitation of Canada’s tar sands as well as fracking.
“It (fracking) has sort of really come to the attention now in the U.K. … With this camp it’s become a very controversial issue,” he added. “We’ve all been working together. There’s an expectation that a lot is going to emerge from this campaign.”
The Balcombe protest – a smaller camp of mainly local people remains – was undeniably controversial. The right-leaning Daily Mail newspaper put the story on its front page with the headline “Police cave in to mob rule over fracking” after drilling was temporarily halted at the site following advice from police.
A total of 29 people were arrested at Balcombe on Monday, including the U.K.’s only Green Party lawmaker, Caroline Lucas.
Polish filmmaker Lech Kowalski was also at the camp to make a follow-up to his film “Drill Baby Drill,” which tells the story of the fracking experiences of farmers in Poland and Pennsylvania.
He said the protest at Balcombe, where oil firm trucks have been able to access the site, was tame by Polish standards.
Farmers at a Chevron site near Zurawlow have “totally blocked the entrances and they are hold fast there to the point they were prepared to throw Molotov cocktails,” he said.
Kowalsi said the Polish farmers’ families had lived there for generations.
“These farmers had to survive the Soviet period, the Communist period and the Nazis,” he said. “They look at themselves as partisans fighting for the land.”
Kowalski said he thought the anti-fracking campaign was beginning to snowball, noting the presence at Balcombe of “middle-class people who work in London, the kind of people who probably never considered protesting about anything.”
Eddie Mitchell, a farmer and builder in Manorhamilton, northwest Ireland, said he feared fracking was about to be introduced into Ireland with hardly any public debate.
“We’re opposed [to fracking] because the main reason is that we know that it’s dangerous from America,” he said. “The personal testimony from people in America seems to be there’s a lot of concern.”
“I have a child who has a heart problem. We understand the value of health. We’re not going to allow our children to be put at risk,” he said. “When you think about the risk for our children and the way the project is being driven, then you just have to stand your ground.”
Mitchell, a leading member of anti-fracking group Good Energies Alliance Ireland and a local official for the center-right Fine Gael party, said many people did not understand just how severe “the industrialization of the landscape” could become if widespread fracking was allowed.
He claimed people in exploited areas of the countryside could potentially find themselves no more than about 800 yards from four drilling “pads” each several acres in size.
Richard Davies, professor of energy at Durham University who previously worked for major oil companies, said there was always a “small level of risk” in the energy industry.
But he said the fracking process was “very unlikely” to cause water contamination and said it had been linked to just three man-made earthquakes out of 198 since 1929 despite “hundreds of thousands of fracking operations.”
Davies said some problems in the U.S. had been caused by “a small percentage of wells” that were leaking because they had not been sealed properly.
“The way that fracking could contribute to contamination is not the fracking process,” he said. “It’s the drilling process.”

The Independent published an article entitled "World's top sweetener is made with GM bacteria," which revealed that Monsanto was knowingly adding aspartame to soft drinks in the United States - and that aspartame is made from GM bacteria. This report, which remains one of the earliest disclosures on aspartame in a mainstream newspaper, received little attention after its publication - possibly because its implications were underestimated at the time - and it has long been forgotten.
Since 1999, the world has become a little more attentive to Monsanto and aspartame, but ignorance still abounds about the latter's genesis. While more and more people are starting to awaken to aspartame's destructive effects on our health, do they know how it is actually made? Fortunately, a 1981 patent for aspartame production, once confined to the drawers of patent offices, is now available online for everyone to see - and it confirms everything that Monsanto was happy to tell us in 1999 before their meteoric growth necessitated greater prudence.

                    The production process

The patent, which is entitled Process for producing aspartame and is credited to Bahl, Rose, and White, summarizes the process as follows:
"The artificial sweetener aspartame, a dipeptide with the formula Asp-Phe-me, is produced using a cloned micrcorganism [sic]. A DNA which codes for a large stable peptide comprised of the repeating amino acid sequence (Asp-Phe)n is inserted into a cloning vehicle which in turn is introduced into a suitable host microorganism. The host microorganism is cultured and the large peptide containing the repeating Asp-Phe sequence is harvested therefrom. The free carboxyl group of the large peptide is benzylated and then hydrolysed to benzyl Asp-Phe dipeptides. This dipeptide is methylated and then debenzylated to form aspartame."
This scientific jargon obfuscates (perhaps deliberately) a truly disturbing process:
1.) 'Cloned microorganisms' (which the patent later reveals to be genetically modified E. coli) are cultivated in tanks whose environments are tailored to help them thrive.
2.) The well-fed E. coli cultures defecate the proteins that contain the aspartic acid-phenylalanine amino acid segment needed to make aspartame.
3.) The proteins containing the Asp-Phe segments are 'harvested' (i.e. lab assistants collect the bacteria's feces).
4.) The feces are then treated. This includes a process of methylation (adding an excess of the toxic alcohol, methanol, to the protected dipeptide).
While common sense dictates that this abomination doesn't belong anywhere near our bodies, the patent's authors made no secret about their belief that aspartame constitutes a safe and nutritious sweetener:
"Aspartame is not only sweeter than sucrose, but is preferable as a food to sucrose. While sucrose can provide the body with little more than energy, aspartame is composed of amino acids, the building blocks of body proteins, and like other proteins is broken down by the digestive enzymes in the stomach to its constituent amino acids thus providing nutritive value. [...] For these reasons, aspartame holds significant promise in replacing sugar as a sweetener.
So there we have it: An official document that not only reveals the shocking truth behind aspartame production, but also freely admits that it was intended for mass consumption as a sucrose substitute. Therefore, the next time someone claims that your reservations about this sweetener are unfounded, direct them to this patent - the truth behind aspartame is now in plain view.

Where are we in this vast majestic scenario, not the planet we the I, me?
Explanation: What would it look like to fly through the distant universe? To find out, a team of astronomers estimated the relative distances to over 5,000 galaxies in one of the most distant fields of galaxies ever imaged: the Hubble Ultra Deep Field (HUDF). Because it takes light a long time to cross the universe, most galaxies visible in the above video are seen when the universe was only a fraction of its current age, were still forming, and have unusual shapes when compared to modern galaxies. No mature looking spiral galaxies such as our Milky Way or the Andromeda galaxy yet exist. Toward the end of the video the virtual observer flies past the furthest galaxies in the HUDF field, recorded to have a redshift past 8. This early class of low luminosity galaxies likely contained energetic stars emitting light that transformedmuch of the remaining normal matter in the universe from a cold gas to a hot ionized plasma.
