Good Greeting and warm smiles. I could not find a suitable image to assist the words I wish to express and like many of these 'inner feelings and experiences' it is difficult to express the feel and subtle nuances of it.
I have written and spoken a lot about brain washing and my favourite word for this is inculcation and to go even deeper as it were, I fancy the expression the 'the net of conditioning'. To further this idea or notion I would ask you to bear with me in my explanation, entirely my view and if it is coincidentally similar to others like this as far as I know it maybe a little like the others but it is not plagiarism.
The story of creation and evolution (if this offends or hurts or sleights, or any other hurts and so on I unreservedly apologise and put it down to my ignorance and stupidity); In the beginning if there is any beginning or end, the supreme Intelligence whose nature is consciousness and awareness created from Itself forms that could prove Its existence not for others so much, for there were not others but for proof of Its own existence. The Supreme Intelligence was and is totally Self Aware because It is aware of Itself.
However it decided to form by creative impetus forms of design and beauty and in some of these forms bestowed the gift of creativity and free will and the ability to be self aware. In the course of many billions of years a planet was formed named Earth (it may have had many names by various civilisations and extra-terrestrial visitations and temporary inhabiting the planet and changing its forms or messing with them, however jumping forward a few billion years the inhabitants of this particular form were humans and they were given the ability to think and so Thought arrived and so from instinctual feelings thought took over in some forms, although the so called natural world animals, plants, birds, fish, trees, bacteria and so on still continued in natures way and that of the Supreme Intelligence.

It is often said that the chattering mind, mind obsessed with thought is not to be cherished and in Buddhist and other Eastern philosophies excessive thought is not to be pursued and the quiet mind and even the No Mind paths are recommended. In this case humans took to their own thoughts and philosophies which could at times be in opposition to the Supreme Intelligences thoughts and procedures and so a separation came about by the gift of free will and this caused different ways of living, traditions and cultures and some may say it bred envy, greed, jealousy and indeed in some cases war. This separation depicted that thought is a mere human made construct and the form of thought inculcated formed separate units and a belief structure endemic and so a localised set of communities life styles and preferences evolved and these had structures, laws and ethics which were taught over centuries and formed closed units named ego, which became their reality.

So from here it is seen ego free will thoughts inculcated through many centuries are thoughts of a human nature which have become separated from the Supreme Intelligences original thoughts and the gift of free will is a sort of examination a test in which to see what free will unit awakens to the realisation, that my identity and reality is based on human thought and ego and causes me to be a clone or a parrot to some extent and I am product of someone somewhere in the past propagating these selected religions, philosophies, cults, political and academic propensities and my reality and identity is a mere thought process that I have believed to be reality and true. That leaves one in a state of shock and where then is my identity?

I have coined a phrase for this loss of identity 'nowhere to hang my hat' and the withdrawal symptoms from that can be a shock and one can flee back or search for another 'set of safety patterns' distraction has the number one 'fleeing' methods. The main thing here thought that flits across the awareness is just that, sets of brain washed pixels, scraps of knowledge, mind fantasies and when one deeply realises they are fluff and blown away by the wind should your ego bind you so strongly that you are inured, so captivated, seduced that you really believe this is reality, then by perchance one wakes up to the fact, 'hey these are only thoughts something has to be aware and perceive this, yes a witness an awareness, a conscious presence, sort of behind or a screen and has been watching and witnessing for billions of years or eternity, yes of Course The Supreme Intelligence and at that true awakening thoughts cease to be central stage and one has peeped behind the false reality of human made thoughts which has separated from consciousness and the ego was born as the tool of this separation. See thoughts at junctions on the net of conditioning and as thoughts become less of a necessity the net gets wider and wider in spaces and like the space junk and dark clouds cluttering our light and space the net may eventually dissolve not by trying or any techniques but by the intuitive understanding that once the net of conditioning is dissolved there you and the Supreme Intelligence are one and united again.

ADDENDUM
Why are thinking and thoughts so compulsive; over the thousand of years and since self aware thinkers came on the scene humans have made their own rituals, religions, lifestyles and political agendas. These are splinters of the wholistic natural Cosmic laws which came as evolutionary steps which unfold in incremental sequences. These may seem slow in human terms however they are often cyclic in nature.
The human fragmentation of these thought patterns are not infused with Cosmic energy as a wholistic entity consequently the thoughts are not powerful and they are aware in a way they are not full of Cosmic creative energy, like a bottle full of sea water and the sea being the Source, the Creator and the cork being the ego and so the water in the bottle is only powered by the amount of creative self aware portion of bottled water and the cork has its own agendas and so only allowing slight openings now and then.
This enclosed system is aware of its frailty and is really not a powerful entity and so it preserves itself and has to repeat its patterns over and over again in order to shore up its false sense of reality and hope by constant repetition (inculcation) it can bolster this belief by addiction and find safety in these false narratives and so believe this is reality and is inured, so obsessed that this is their life and will die and defend for it, of course the other splinters with their 'chosen' or were they chosen or brain washed and conditioned which can lead to contention and war with other fragments and all this is built on false beliefs. Of course they do feel or think they are a fragmented either from others or from the Supreme Cosmic Intelligence and this is represented as the sea.
Should the cork loosen or begin to break the local limited water joins or is one with the non local unlimited information and seamless intelligence. Of course the cork does allow a certain amount of sea into the bottle and refresh itself now and again but this is heavily monitored, as the cork disintegrates it has awakenings to its frailty as the thoughts do and the sea which has witnessed this all the time by its constant silent presence may cause the cork to pop and this then can either leave the bottle aimlessly floating and empty or can be content to float in the sea and be always topped up and full energy. Eventually the bottle in the course of time will not be needed and there is just the sea. SHACK aka GEOFF
