THE ELECTRIC FOREST--TREES RESPOND TO A SOLAR ECLIPSE: Solar eclipses aren't just for homo sapiens. Researchers have long known that birds, insects, and many other mammals pay attention when the Moon slides in front of the sun. Now we can add trees to the list.
Hello and Welcome and courtesy to spaceweather.co for this article to which I add comments at the end and is so important for a compliment to Technology and Allopathic Medicine both are needed, however a balance is required and open minds. (Geoff aka Shack)

A paper just published in the journal Royal Society Open Science reports the extraordinary reaction of an Italian mountain forest to a partial eclipse on Oct. 25, 2022. Electrical signals inside spruce trees began to pulse in unison, with older trees seeming to anticipate the eclipse before it happened.
This is unorthodox research, and it may challenge what some readers think about trees. However, it is legitimate work conducted by experts in plant communication and published in a peer-reviewed journal of the Royal Society.
The paper reports how scientists led by Alessandro Chiolerio of the Italian Institute of Technology and Monica Gagliano of Southern Cross University attached electrodes to six Norway spruce trees. Their device is like an EKG for trees. The trees were different ages, ranging from young saplings to individuals over 100 years old, allowing the team to compare how age might influence bioelectrical responsiveness to the eclipse.

As the eclipse approached, electrical signals from different trees began to align; their waveforms became more similar in shape and timing. This synchronization peaked during the eclipse and gradually diminished afterward. Older trees started showing electrical changes earlier, in some cases hours before the eclipse began, while younger trees responded later and more weakly.
The researchers interpreted this as a coordinated response to a large-scale environmental event, possibly involving communication or shared signaling pathways.
The idea that trees may "talk" to one another is core to the burgeoning field of plant communication. Since the 1990s, a growing body of research suggests that trees form symbiotic relationships with fungi, creating vast underground networks called the "Wood Wide Web." Through these networks, trees exchange nutrients, water, and even chemical signals. They also reportedly recognize their own young and give preferential treatment to kin.
"Basically, we are watching the famous 'Wood Wide Web' in action!" says Gagliano.
Although the researchers successfully detected electrical activity in the trees, they have no idea what was being said--if anything. Perhaps it was just a basic response to changes in temperature or light levels (about 1/3rd of the sun was covered during the eclipse). Again, the researchers don't know. Repeating the experiment in different forests during more eclipses may be revelatory.
Stay tuned for updates from the forest.

I copied the whole article from space.com because I felt it so, so important and as many readers who perhaps share access to this article and easier for some to paste and copy.
Many years back I did articles (blogs) about in China and some other countries bells were put on certain trees and they rang when an impending Earthquake was imminent and also animals in zoos were restless and seem to coincide with the tree warnings, however the location of the quake were not known. Mainly this research was done by China, however, when I lectured and did workshops for a month in Rome Italy in consecutive years for eight years at the FAO(food and agriculture organisation of the UN) food scientists were aware of this and the early GMO experiments ( some were so upset at GMO so depressed that they jumped to their death off of the building to their death as a protest).

Speaking to Sun Bear a native American Medicine man he told me that when you want to cut a tree down, not for commercial use but for a canoe, you selected a tree, he said the tree became anxious, the day the tree was to be felled, you felled the tree next to it. Why so I asked, because the shock was not on the anxious tree and the one next to it was quickly felled without shock.
I am aware even with meditation and trying to eat and live naturally how the negative subtle ideas and nuances creep in and with my age and infirmity creeping in, it is a challenge in modern so called civilised life. There is a whole internet of fungi, tree roots and the symbiosis beneath the forest.
https://youtu.be/V4m9SefyRjg?si=q_lMiXyZdiz1-PpMBelow are various links; just recently on MSN news over the last few weeks there are numerous articles about spirituality and science, meditation and science, in fact so many that I have selected just a few. It seems a shift, mind you some attack meditation and some mock it but on the whole it seems many a scientist are in favour, perhaps the mental health and depression are so wide spread that the news in this format is so abundant. The links are more or less self explanatory and many have slide shows with them.
Be Well Be what one is supposed to Be.
