NO MIND -REALLY?

During my stay as a student with a Japanese Sensei and a Chinese Sifu they spoke a lot about the quotes below;

ghosts (pretas) as beings in one of the six realms of cyclic existence who suffer from intense, unquenchable craving and starvation, typically as a karmic result of greed, stinginess, and selfishness in a past life.

Mahakala is a powerful and wrathful deity revered in both Vajrayana Buddhism (especially Tibetan Buddhism) and Hinduism. The name translates from Sanskrit to mean "The Great Black One" or the "Lord of Time and Death".

and then as a counsellor and psychotherapist and time as a forensic technician, time and time again I  came across more modern circumstances that fitted the quotes as above and I formed my own philosophical model of them. I began to recognise persons of greed and lust for power and like the hungry ghosts they were never satisfied and what they had often turned sour in their belly so to speak. In the police generally and among my colleagues they were ambitious,  mostly just an ordinary if there is such as ordinary urge to get promotion and so on and there were those who would do literally anything to get promotion be it legal or otherwise.

In the clinic I witnessed in patients many that would fit the bill as above as well. I see in the world politicians, scientists and doctors who in my view went against all moral and humane rules of etiquette and ethical standards and often recognised the silent prompts in me to step over the line but somehow my own home made philosophy and meditative insights scraped me through. Just with slightly different circumstances I could have been a typical hungry ghost and in previous lives I am sure I was and now as the world mirrors the above with poverty, homelessness, war and famine it is becoming clear who the Great Black One in the form of depression, torture and rape against innocent children, women and nature and a pall of darkness fills the climate and environments and many people feel a nagging silent niggle and restlessness and seek relief in distractions which affects health and well being.

What do we do to kill or alleviate the pain? We can eat comfort food, we can drink alcohol, take drugs medical or otherwise. Yet when the 'high' has past and perhaps too late as an addiction sets in, then many seek help from the medical authorities and in the UK the help is limited because of funding and staff shortages and many overworked staff often miss things or make wrong diagnosis because of fatigue and absence due to work related stress. Whilst movie makers and the media make massive glary shocking noisy violent movies and reports that fascinate and yet add to the complexity adding to the 'silent buzz of the background anxiety'. As the world seems to get more and more chaotic it seems The Lord of Time and Death awakens and the constant threats of nuclear war and other other exotic weaponry with names hypersonic and vibrational tectonic, psychotronic and so on with voices warning us 'it only a matter of time before the next virus and pandemic arrives' and certain tactics such as in the Covid era and from my Post Saturday 9th March 2024 'OK the Covid did great psychological damage more so than than admitted however there is the 'nudge'  which in the UK is a bunch of think tank psychologists who in the Covid era gave out statements to put the fear of the devil and horror in one. These are what are termed 'psyops' they have them in every country.' They claim to be the experts and rule alone and not to be challenged and if you go to any other authority or alternative you can be called 'an urban terrorist, an activist or a conspiracy nerd. The rule by fear. And now like AI it will be like ultimate hungry ghost.

No Mind - Really?

I realise I have gone into these images 4 and 5 a lot and I fully appreciate this is boring or repetitious and so please just skip the rest of this explanation and repetition. I suppose this is a new angle and I trust for some and for me laying this out is a work in progress.
I feel most of us are cloned minds and that I recognise this in myself. When I was born I was a free agent(for those who believe and feel we bring over shadows of past reincarnations) and in some psychological schools they teach we come in with a clean slate so to speak. However I come in with shadow or clean slate, the babe is relatively free of conditioning apart from Mothers 'feelings'  and research has proven some feelings from outside the uterus' NOT THOUGHTS, just feelings that get imprinted into the babe's nervous system.
When the babe is born it is usually given a name, Not Your Choice, I term this first conditioned stamp(this is my take and may not be medically or any bodies theory. (I own I can and could be wrong and apologise for this assumption if it offends) moving on the next is religion or not, life style and so on, most taught by parents and this is not wrong and is largely agreed by consensus as natural.  These are the next conditional stamps as it were. At the age of 12, I was aware that my upbringing clashed with others and I figured out this could lead to conflict relationships and escalate to war and racism. At 14 years I had a jolt through the meditative practices and various other social events that 'nearly everything I know was taught to me or second hand knowledge'. I realised that my beliefs formed my reality and that in image 4 was 'influence persistently with repetition' was how I got this way and I realised I was brainwashed, I had conditioned mind and I yearned to be free and did not know how, Sensei had given me a Koan and as you may know they are a paradox and there is no intelligent answer or logic to them ( the most popular 'tell me the sound of one hand clapping') any attempt to provide a logical explanation was swiftly squashed by Sensi and kyōsaku (in the Sōtō school) or keisaku (in the Rinzai school). a sharp tap on the shoulder or shout with  Sensei or a slight kick on the butt. I have described the 'solving' if the ever is elsewhere. As far as I know Sensei was Zen.
Anyway as I grew older and realised through forensics and then quantum stuff and the empty atom was it possible to have no fixed beliefs and therefore no identity? Not an impulsive layabout or scruffy Zen bum or a bumptious lout? When the intuitive spontaneous Koan hit the mark so to speak and Sensei saying, 'sit down have a cup of tea, you will find you do not fit in anywhere' I already had a feel of this after my NDE. This was different, a sort of shift in the brain so to speak, a micro instant of something and yet nothing, this was not a feeling as such, this was an thunderbolt of a shift in my whole brain as it were. I suddenly had a clarity and very little thought and I did not meditate and left Sensei for Sifu and went into Chinese stuff and then left both(actually Sensei went back to Japan and Sifu passed away) During my police work I did not meditate much at all and lived just working and twelve years with dearest Gilly my partner and wife. I have lived 42 years on my own and with just one or two girlfriends and the last 30 years without the need for girlfriends or serious friends at all. Of course there were the 730 workshop presentations and 3000patients and the travelling by plane and train and driving  Holland, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Italy and living in Canada and Spain and Findhorn for extensive periods of time taking nearly five years as sabbaticals. My work experience was 25 years
During this time I was realising and had  a sharp deep visceral experience beyond an 'AHHA' I have no identity as such and felt it profoundly and the shock waves still echo a bit and I called this experience 'nowhere to hang my Hat'
To sum up as soon as one has the full visceral understanding beyond logic and intellect image 4 inculcation it lands you in image 5 'No Mind' Nowhere to hang your hat.

I have found that fear and anxiety does try to creep in now and again and 'no mind' somehow grows and the creeping in is almost vanishing.
